Clifford B. Rodgers (“Ben”)

Ben was born in Lordsburg, New Mexico while his father, who made a career serving in the Air Force, was stationed there. As a 'military brat,' he, along with 2 brothers and 2 sisters, grew up on military bases in various states, including New Mexico, Mississippi, Texas, and Maine, and on military bases in Nagoya, Japan and Naha, Okinawa. He currently lives in Fort Worth with his wife of 42 years, Lyn.

His ability to serve his law firm clients draws from a diverse educational and vocational background. After graduating from high school in Sherman, Texas in 1961, he obtained a B.B.A. degree in accounting in 1966 from the University of Texas at Arlington, in Arlington, Texas. He worked for a year as an accountant for a Fort Worth utility company, then studied business and finance at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance in 1969.

He married his wife, Lyn, in 1965 and together they raised two sons. Jeremy, the youngest son, is presently serving in the U.S. Army in Balad, Iraq. This is Jeremy's second tour in Iraq.

After obtaining an M.B.A. degree, Mr. Rodgers worked for a national public accounting firm in Dallas, Texas from 1969 to 1972. He then worked for a New York Stock Exchange listed communications company based in San Antonio, Texas for ten years. His last job responsibility there was as a Senior Vice President. Beginning in 1982 he operated a direct mail business in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

His business background gave him insights in how big business firms both harm consumers, employees, and others and then, working with their insurance companies, fiercely resist accepting full responsibility for the harm they cause. In 1986, he enrolled in Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas. He graduated with a J.D. degree in December, 1988 and obtained his license to practice law in Texas in May, 1989.

He practices as a solo practitioner representing consumers, employees, and other individuals who have been injured by the negligence of big businesses, insurance companies, and others.

He is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court to practice in Texas Courts and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
