Lyn Rodgers
Office Manager
Lyn was born in Fort Worth and is a graduate of Eastern Hills High School. She met Clifford "Ben" Rodgers her junior year at Arlington State College - now the University Of Texas At Arlington. They married in 1965. Lyn then worked in the legal field while her husband was completing his education. She thereafter focused on raising a family. She rejoined the legal field in 1986 and worked as a legal assistant for a Fort Worth attorney who is now an appellate court judge.
She was RLF's first legal assistant. As RLF grew, she assumed responsibility for all general office functions including payroll and accounts payable. She also prepares our PowerPoint presentations and settlement brochures.
She is the very proud mother of two sons. She is a natural artist and loves to cook and garden.
Elizabeth Beard
Paralegal
Elizabeth graduated from Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas in 1980. She attended Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas and studied business courses. She obtained her Associates Degree in Applied Science and Legal Assistant Certificate from Tarrant County College.
She joined our legal team in January, 1997 and has over ten years experience as a paralegal. She is experienced in all phases of pre-litigation and litigation case management. She is the videographer for all of RLF’s video depositions. She also has considerable experience assisting Ben at trial.
She also has 17 years of experience in the medical field as an insurance clerk, medical record analyst, and office manager for doctors in Tyler and Fort Worth.
She lives in Haltom City with her husband, Rick, and son, Daniel, a senior at Haltom High School. Her daughter, Tiffany, lives in Springfield, Missouri, with her husband Eric. Elizabeth is very proud of the recent birth of her first grandson, Zane. Her hobbies are scrapbooking, photography and cooking. She is actively involved in the music at her church where she plays the keyboard.

Now Serving His Second Tour in Iraq
Jeremy is Ben and Lyn’s youngest son. He graduated from Fort Worth Country Day School in Fort Worth, Texas in 1992 and from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1996 with a degree in history.
Jeremy has been interested in computers since he got his first computer in 1982 and enjoys building computers for his friends. After college, he worked as a computer programmer and system administrator. He joined RLF’s legal team in 1999 as RLF’s computer network administrator. He installed all of RLF’s computers and updated RLF’s digital technology to the latest available.
After 9/11, he decided to take a leave of absence from RLF and join the Army. After basic training and advanced training in Air Defense Artillery, his “MOS,” he was assigned to Camp Hovey near Tongduchon, Korea, forty miles North of Seoul and 12 miles south of the DMZ line separating North and South Korea. He served 9 months in Korea, and then was deployed to Iraq in August, 2004, for his first tour there. He served in Iraq for 13 months and then was redeployed to Fort Lewis, Washington. He was deployed to Balad, Iraq in March, 2007 for his second tour.
His current rank is Staff Sergeant (E6) and he made Staff Sergeant in four years, the shortest time allowed under Army promotion guidelines. He is assigned to the 5th Battalion of the 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment and is currently a Battle NCO for counter rocket artillery mortar (“C-RAM”) operations.
The photo on RLF’s home page is of Jeremy giving a soccer ball to a young Kurdish boy while his older brother looks on. Jeremy’s unit was on a good will mission in 2004 to support the local Kurdish population in Al Taash, a small village near the City of Ramadi in al-Anbar Province.
Ben and the RLF legal team are extremely proud of Jeremy and all of America’s service men and women in all branches of America’s military.
